Sell Your Books
Here is how it works:
- If you only have a few books, you can just send me ISBNs (if the books have them).
- Or, send me an e-mail with a general description of the books you would like to sell, and about how many you have (or how many boxes or shelves you have).
- I will let you know if I am interested, and we will set up an appointment.
- If you have already sent me ISBNs, I may be able to give you an estimate.
- My colleague, Katherine from BackGarage, and I will come to you and use a mobile device (and our expertise) to give you the best current price for your books.
- We make you an offer. If you don't like it, you are under no obligation to sell.
- We then pay you cash or write you a check, and take away the books.
If you have a large number of books and a small amount of time, we can pick them up and then mail you a check. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about the process.

Our offers are based on a percentage of the current online resale price of the book, with condition and other factors taken into consideration. Because we sell through the online marketplace only, we unfortunately cannot purchase books with very low online values, no matter how wonderful they may be.
